General skills/ideas:

• Pick a bird and research it.Fill out an animal research sheet on it. 
• Look up references to birds in the Bible. Copy them for handwriting. 
• Do some backyard birdwatching. Start a birdwatching notebook and add them. 
• Make a graph of the birds that you saw. Make a pie graph and a bar graph. 
• This is a good time to learn 12 eggs in a dozen. 
• Use an egg carton to practice counting by twos.
